I offer professional development for teachers at any level, from national conferences to individual schools, about science and outdoor education topics of your choosing.

Professional development sessions I have offered recently include:

• Outdoor Classroom to K-12 teachers at a regional Summer Institute
• Outdoor Classroom for preschool teachers at a state conference

Other topics for which I can provide customized professional development include

• strategic incorporation of technology in STEM education
• NGSS

I will be offering a session titled Next Generation Science Standards: The Basics at the Montana Education Association conference in October to help education professionals who don’t necessarily feel comfortable with NGSS (but who may be afraid to admit that—my experience has indicated there are many who fall into this category) become informed and conversant.
